Improve Your Navigating Aptitude

Chart showing how navigating reality is related to other human aspirations, such as cultivating wisdom.

Navigating Reality refers to discovering the best possible ways of reaching positive, constructive and empathetic outcomes. Our ability to navigate reality is a learned skill we improve through practice. Since engaging the reality of a situation or circumstance nurtures our intellectual creativity, we can find ourselves uplifted and energized by our own learning discoveries.

Clarifying a more realistic vision and pathway in both scope and depth, allows us to attain the best possible outcomes. Navigating Reality helps us attend to not only our intellectual development, but our emotional intelligence as well.  We can enhance our intelligence, resilience and well-being by enriching the meaning of how we think. When we integrate how we think with what we do, we are more able to guide our activities in positive and constructive directions – sometimes described as “hope”.

When we think about our possible pathway choices, we begin to identify ‘decision-points’ along a learning journey. This decision-making journey influences the context of our reality because the skill of identifying our decision options before we make them, helps us navigate better.  We can both trace our probable outcomes, as well as test the accuracy of our conceptions.
